Webinar Recording: Insolvency and Liability of Board Members in the US and Poland

August 5, 2024

Last month, Cullen and Dykman LLP attorneys Michael H. Traison, Bozena M. Diaz and Michael Kwiatkowski participated in a panel discussion with attorneys from Skarbiec Law Firm, one of the most prominent and oldest law firms in Poland, which discussed and compared various aspects of American and Polish law, including insolvency, bankruptcy, and certain areas of corporate and tax law.  The purpose of the seminar was to educate attendees about the different approaches that the laws of the two countries take on a variety of legal issues, and to alert them to be aware of those when engaging in cross-border transactions involving both Polish and American constituents.

This webinar highlighted Cullen and Dykman's experience working with Polish clients in the United States and working with Polish counsel to assist American clients with interests in Poland.
