Cynthia is returning to Cullen and Dykman after spending the summer of 2023 with us as a Fellow. Cynthia recently completed her second year at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2022 with a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Economics.

What made you interested in law as a Career?
My interest in law as a career stems from my fondness of learning and solving problems, while also breaking through barriers.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love to hang out with my dog and go for runs. For anyone curious, he’s a mini goldendoodle.
What have you enjoyed most about Cullen and Dykman’s program so far?
The environment has been great, with many open doors to go meet new people and explore various practice areas. I have been able to get assignments from various practice areas and learned many new things.
What academic/professional achievement are you most proud of?
Being part of the Family Court Review and having my note chosen to be published.

What advice do you have for prospective Summer Associates/Fellows?
Maintain an open mind and explore as many areas as possible. This is your chance to learn so don’t be afraid to ask questions or for work.
