Erin R. Frost and Julia Merani Successfully Obtained Summary Judgment Dismissing the Plaintiff’s Complaint Against the Firm’s Retail Client in a Personal Injury Case

Erin R. Frost and Julia Merani, attorneys in the firm’s General, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Department, successfully obtained summary judgment dismissing the plaintiff’s complaint against the firm’s retail client in a personal injury case. The plaintiff had alleged injuries from a fall caused by an alleged mis-leveled sidewalk. After the plaintiff’s unfortunate passing during the lawsuit, the court granted a motion of dismiss as no administrator was appointed to continue the case.
