Bohn, a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation department, was recently interviewed by Thomson Reuters on Joe Pepitone, a former New York Yankees legend, suing the Baseball Hall of Fame to reclaim Mickey Mantle's 500th home run bat. In his interview, Douglas notes that the doctrine of laches will play a significant role in the case. Since 54 years have passed, the doctrine of laches may prevent Pepitone from recovering the bat.
