Cullen and Dykman LLP Facilitates Successful Merger of Bloomfield College and Montclair State University

July 5, 2023 – Cullen and Dykman LLP represented Bloomfield College in its merger with Montclair State University, which took effect on July 1, 2023. The merger of a small, private liberal arts college into a large public research university was the first transaction of its kind in New Jersey higher education.

The creation of Bloomfield College of Montclair State University provides for the continuation of Bloomfield College’s mission and establishes a seamless path for all Bloomfield College students to complete their education, while allowing both institutions to leverage their combined strengths and resources.
