What made you want to become an attorney?
Being so impressed with my Eagle Scout advisor who was a prominent attorney in my hometown.
What do you remember about your first day at Cullen and Dykman?
Proud to be working at a 120 year old prestigious law firm. Happy to be assigned my own office with a window.
What are some of your largest professional achievements over the past 50 years?
Arguing a case at the NY Court of Appeals as a young attorney. Being entrusted with representing the village of Garden City which led to the representation of Nassau County and several Towns & Villages.
Who has had the most impact on you during your time at the firm?
George Loring Hubbell, Jr.
How has your role changed at the firm over the years?
Taking on more responsibility with clients as years went by and being able to attract new clients.
What is your favorite memory of working at Cullen and Dykman?
Interpersonal relationships with colleagues, client golf outings and dinners.
What has been the most impactful advice you have received about practicing law?
Always be collegial.
What activities do you participate in outside of the firm?
Charitable work, travel, golf
What advice would you give to new attorneys?
Ask questions, work hard and always be collegial.
