Dharman Niles is an Of Counsel in the firm's Construction Litigation department. His practice focuses on advising clients on insurance coverage matters, coverage litigation and complex risk transfer issues, particularly in cases involving construction accidents and defects.

For more than two decades, Dharman has focused on insurance law and litigation. His practice includes advising clients on insurance coverage related matters across all U.S. jurisdictions and representing clients in coverage disputes before State and Federal Courts and regulatory bodies in New York and Connecticut. His extensive work includes resolving claims related to insurance coverage under various lines of insurance at the primary and excess levels, priority and allocation of coverage between multiple policies, reinsurance, contributory and comparative negligence, contractual and common-law indemnification, and New York Labor Law violations and others.

Prior to joining the firm and in addition to his insurance related practice, Dharman advised small to mid-size businesses on general corporate matters, contracts (negotiation and drafting), transactions, licensing, and copyright/trademark filings.
